I was tired last night. I didn't even make it through the introduction of my new Jean-Pierre De Caussade book before my eyes got heavy.
It's funny how one "new" GameBoy Micro has renewed Timothy's interest in our collection of old GameBoy cartridges. (prior to the DS's)
It's rainy again! I wish there was some movie I could take the kids to see this weekend. Alas, Prince Caspian isn't until mid-May.
Back from the Milford Golds. 'Twas my first time with a local membership rather than leveraging the "Golds Alliance" cross site access.
Showed Michelle & the kids the "Behind the scenes" for Speed Racer that's sitting on everyone's TiVo this week. Looks like it has potential.
Claire is proudly wearing a skirt she made this morning using Michelle's sowing sewing machine. That's the most use the machine's had in years.
We were going to have lunch out, but instead decided to have an early dinner out after a 3pm Confession run for Michelle, Claire, Abby & me.
The youngest four are having a blast playing Mario Kart Wii while Claire is helping Michelle make some home made chicken chili for lunch.
Claire went with me to Donut Fresh Express to pick up some coffee to cheer us up on this gloomy overcast afternoon.
Having an early dinner with Michelle and the kids at Smokey Bones. Later we'll stop by the Pheasant Lane Mall.
The boys and I picked up the official Mario Kart guide. Now they're burning off some steam at the mall playground.
"sowing machine" Must be the teacher in me coming out Scott- but don't you mean "sewing machine"?
How tired were ya when you posted?
And congrats to Claire. I sure couldn't make a skirt- sowing or sewing.
Posted by: Erica at May 4, 2008 04:09 PMHi Erica,
Yes, it's an easy typo for me since I rarely, if ever, type it. Michelle hasn't done any sewing since our days in Dayton, OH. Claire has had to re-learn how to use the machine almost from scratch without a lot of guidance from Michelle.
Keep in mind most of these sentences are just typed out periodically throughout the day when I get a minute or two. Sometimes they originate from my cell phone, which is even more error prone.
'ya' — don't you mean 'you'? ;-P
