Geek alert: Who-hoo! Mounted my Amazon S3 area as a local file system. Will later have my local MovableType install write its files there...
Now that Daniel can read, he has a renewed interest in the original Paper Mario from the Nintendo64 days (playing in Wii Virtual Console)
Folded more laundry. Getting my stuff together to take a class at the gym. Work really interfered with my workouts this week.
Back from the gym. Between the lack of sleep last night and not working out since last Saturday, my workout today was substandard.
Michelle could tell I wasn't firing on all cylinders and told me to take a nap. I think soon we're going to hit a couple of bookstores.
After days of practice, adding one paragraph at a time, Claire has finished memorizing her monolog from this book. (related link)
We took the kids to the Book Cellar. I found an "Office Space" kit! Now we're having dinner at Chili's.
At Toadstool Books with most of the kids. Michelle ran out with Timothy who now decided he needed to go to the bathroom.
Looking at my "Office Space" kit: Red Swingline Stapler. Initech mug. TPS report covers. Flair. "Is This Good for the Company" sign.
OK- did Claire have to memorize a monologue?
I've never watched Office Space.
We went to Borders today- Will got the 3rd Speed Racer book (he's been reading the series), and Tom got a new Star Wars book, otherwise, we planted flowers, worked in the yard, stuff like that...
Oh, Will got a new bike with some of his First Communion money.
Tom's working tomorrow, I'll finish up report card comments and hang with the kids.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Hi Lyss,
Yes, the monologue was a class assignment. She's been rehearsing it with us for about two weeks.
I'm glad Will got something fun with his 1st Communion money. I suspect my money just went into my bank account 30+ years ago...
Enjoy these last few days of school. Our kids have another few weeks. But then, Claire gets to go to Florida for a while. She's pretty excited about that. Michelle, on the other hand, is bracing for an Abigail who's "bored". I'm looking forward to the re-opening of the Milford pool.
