New weblog entry: Bristol (related link)
Michelle & the kids were just watching a small, brown fox on the hill in our back yard. I'm on my way out the door to the office.
It's been a busy morning. I've gone from a relaxing commute in to juggling a bunch of flaming torches hoping not to get burned.
Returning from the cafeteria I couldn't help but notice what a nice day it is. I hope Michelle is enjoying it while the kids are in school.
Just discovered (related link) What a clever way to do opinion/commentary. Never body text, but graph's are worth a 1000 words.
Wondering what is causing this occasional "bit rot" data corruption in my photo albums. (related link)
Whoa! I didn't realize Illinois' unemployment rate was approaching European levels. (related link)
Posting from my just installed "Google Chrome" web browser. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Opera have another kid on the block.
It's a month old, but I'm still laughing at this YouTube video: (related link) Hat tip to Christopher Humphries.
Back from tonight's Opus Dei evening of recollection. Gonna sync up a few podcasts in iTunes, choose one, and get some sleep.
Howdy Scott -
No debate here about the Bristol Palin news. About once a week or so Lisa or I solemnly remind the older kids that there is absolutely nothing at all they could ever do that would make us stop loving them completely; this sort of situation passes through my mind when I remind them. The last thing we want is for a pregnancy to pop up and he/she thinks in traditional after-school-movie fashion "I could never tell Mom and Dad - they'd kill me!" Indeed, the Palin's statement helped refine my gamed-in-anticipation approach to that sort of news.
