Ooops! Left a window open & it's 42°F/5°C outside now. The house feels brisk inside now. My folks & I will visit Weston, Vermont today.
On Route 101 heading to Vermont. The trees look even more beautiful with my polarizing sunglasses.
Just crossed the bordah. We're in the Green Mountain state.
Back home. Couldn't update easily in Weston, VT because there wasn't much cell coverage there.
This is one of the highlights of my trip! ;-) (related link)
Tried a few sips of red wine from the vineyard adjacent to my folks' home. (related link)
Dang! We just ate a pumpkin pie for dessert from a local orchard - it was maybe 1/3 as thick.
Posted by: Bill White at October 4, 2008 10:11 PMHi Bill,
My dad and I each ordered one. Our eyes popped wide open when our server delivered them. They *were* about 2-3 times as high as we'd ever seen a pumpkin pie. We were wondering where to buy pie pans that deep.
BTW, that was a cheapo cameraphone snapshot....
