Router - I've been having problems these past few weeks with my Linksys Cable Gateway. On a typical work-from-home day I've been rebooting the box a few times per day. Last weekend I ordered some replacement components which arrived today.
Comcast - Tonight I called Comcast to arrange the switchover. I've done this kind of thing before and usually it involved just confirming your identity, giving the ID of the modem, plugging it in and going. Unfortunately while the modem seemed to come up fine, Comcast can't "see" it so it won't propagate through their system.
Repair - I have a technician appointment for later in the week, but until then we have ... no internet in the house! *gasp* My only resource will be having my laptop tether the 3G data in my cell phone. I think this will hit my WebKinz, ClubPenguin, Build-A-Bear dot com kids the hardest. Well, that and I can't work from home until they fix it.
So if I miss an update, you'll know why...
