My work laptop was off all weekend and so now is auto-running Symantec AntiVirus scan, bringing the laptop to a craaawwwwlllll.

Slowly getting used to "NX". It's like a mixture of VNC or M$ Remote Desktop mixed with a bit of GnuScreen, but fast over remote networks.
