Good morning. Happy Feast of Divine Mercy! I'm on my way to take the girls to Mass. They are altar servers this morning so I have to get them there early.
Home from Mass & breakfast w/Abby & the twins. I downloaded some more MIDI's for the Clavinova of songs the boys have learned on Wii Music. They're playing with 'em now.
Attempting to do a hard drive wipe & OS install on my old iBook G4 before I send it to Daniel's godfather. Saying goodbye to whatever had been installed on it...
Upgrading our iTunes purchased music to be DRM free [aka iTunes Plus]. I'd put if off for a while but am biting the bullet now. Cha-ching!$! Most future purchases will likely be from Amazon's Music store but I wanted to "fix" the older stuff.
Between the OS updates of the old iBook and the upgrade of our iTunes music, we are currently using a lot of cable modem bandwidth just downloading from Apple.
Now that our music library is free (as in speech), I'm backing it up again onto my MacBook. I think that now that it has no DRM, I might sync it with my non-iPhone phone.
It's springtime and I'm a papa. Bike chains fixed, bike tires and basketballs re-inflated, boo-boos consoled. Now nursing a iced chocolate raspberry coffee while watching the boys on their bikes.
Michelle just found out that her cousin just had his first baby and named her "Abigail Rose". Probably didn't know about our Abigail Rose. Oh well. They're on opposite coasts.
Wrapping up my weekend in the usual style. Foldin' laundry, bathing the twins, getting the boys ready for bed...
Claire and I were reading and discussing this article about how modern running shoes have done zilch to statistically reduce rates of injury. (related link)
The trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter movie is looking awesome. July 17th. Hmm. Wonder if I can convince Claire to go with me? Will the local IMAX theater have it? (related link)
