Good morning! Many parents in NH are trying to figure out what to do with their kids this spring break week. I'm taking today off. While Michelle teaches her Step class at the Merrimack YMCA, I'm taking the kids to their pool. Today is Abby's actual 11th birthday.
After swimming we separated. I took the boys to eat and to GameStop to buy Space Invaders Extreme for the Nintendo DS.
About a year or two ago a friend got my kids Chinese iPod knockoffs, complete with Chinese manuals. After some recent pressure from the boys, I charged 'em up and put a few MP3s files on them. They don't seem to play AAC format, which is most of our audio library.
Pleasantly surprised. Found a dealer in town for our wood pellet grill and was able to pick up a replacement fitted cover to replace ours which tore last winter.
Back from a good workout at the gym. Ready for some reheated dinner. The kids enjoyed hamburgers from the grill while I was out. Now it's my turn...
Michelle & the girls are about to watch 'Dancing w/the Stars'. I'm going to head upstairs to read.
Since I'm wrapping up my 2nd reading of C.S.Lewis' "The Abolition of Man", I was thinking of following it up with his fictional book with similar themes, "That Hideous Strength". Has anyone read it who can comment on it?
