Sunny, smooth commute down to Boxborough. Listened to a podcast with Steve Ray entitled "Who needs priests?" (related link)
Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of when Jerry Sanders and 7 others founded AMD (Advanced Micro Devices). There'll be celebrations at all of our offices this afternoon. (related link)
Went with four co-workers to (related link) in Chelmsford for lunch. Between this and the anniversary party later this afternoon, I don't think I'll be needing dinner tonight.
Back from the AMD anniversary video "Worldcast". I got a good bit of "early days" history from the keynote speaker, Jerry Sanders, the founder. I didn't win any cool prizes, but my boys will love the ZeeBeez they were giving away as swag. (related link)
Smooth commute home. Filled up w/biodiesel on the way. Listened to Fr. Pacwa on "Open Line" and later to the Wall Street Journal.
Tucked the boys in bed for the night. The girls and two of their friends are watching "Tuck Everlasting". I'm updating the work laptop's linux partition to Ubuntu 9.04 while installing Photoshop Elements 6 on my MacBook.
