Good morning! Well that heat wave that was over the midwest has worked its way into New England. Should be around 92F today. After I drop Claire & her friends off at school, my 3 year old "new" car goes in for its 70K service visit.
Curious. Even though he's technically _known_ how to ride a bike for 2 years, suddenly yesterday Michael discovered how much fun it is. I think Daniel and Timothy encouraged him to get over his fears and just have fun with it.
It just dawned on me. Couldn't the Verizon MiFi "personal hotspot" ( (related link) ) be done with an iPhone or Palm Pre with just the right software app? (assuming Apple/ATT/Sprint would even allow it to be sold) They both have the hardware to be a 3G to WiFi internet bridge.
Ordered a shirt for my wife. (related link)
Watched the trailer for The 13th Day. (related link) Looks like one I'd like to see, but I'm wondering if it'll be at any nearby theaters.
Back from lunch with my spiritual director. In unrelated news I ordered "Storm Front (The Dresden Files, Book 1)" for my next audio book. Thanks to Tom for the recommendation. (related link)
Stopped by the shop to pick up 'Ruby' (my Jetta). It is 94F outside and it sat in the sun all sealed up. I could barely shift gears on the way home without scalding my right palm.
It's a bit schadenfreude on my part, but I was happy to see regular gas going for the same price as diesel at the local station.
Going to step aware from the C, Verilog, waveforms, etc. and prepare for a workout followed by Ascension Thursday Mass.
Back from a good workout at Golds and then Ascension Day Mass. If only I could discipline myself this consistently every day. Finally going to have some dinner and watch some "Big Bang Theory" with Claire.
