Good morning! Welcome back to Ordinary Time. I've dropped the kids off at their schools. Michelle and Tim are heading to the Merrimack YMCA. I'm working from home on what looks to be a nice spring day here in New England.
Today AMD announces their new 6 core "Istanbul" processor aimed at the server market. Socket upgradeable from previous 2 or 4 core processors. Released 4 months ahead of schedule. (related link)
Went with Michelle for lunch at the Cafe on the Oval, followed by a coffee run. It is gorgeous outside. Too bad sunlight washes out the LCD of my laptop...
A couple of days ago I ordered the cables so that my MacBook could drive our TV's HDMI video input. It came today and I just tried it out. Looks sweet! 1080i on a 37 inch screen is plenty sharp for me. Now for the audio... I must have that cabling around somewhere...

Back from Golds. Just a vanilla Step & abs class. Thankfully it wasn't as humid so you could put some effort into it without feeling like you were going to pass out.
After dinner Claire & I watched an old episode of Big Bang Theory and I cleared out my backlog of email. Such excitement on a Monday night! G'Night all!
