Good morning! I'm a bit sneezy and congested from yesterday's lawn mowing, but hopeful it'll pass soon. Today is the last day of school for the kids.
I dropped Claire & her friends off for the last time. Michelle is taking the rest to school. Abby has a field trip to the Boston Museum of Science today. I'm jealous because while I'm writing diagnostic tests, she'll be seeing cool stuff, including their IMAX theater.
You know. Even though it lacks state of the art styling sexiness, after several months I'm really starting to love my Palm Centro. It's easy to navigate with the touch screen or the 5 way control. Keyboard keys can be mapped to short cuts. TealOS adds nice Palm Pre-style eye candy. It's 3G and is tetherable. Load of apps from its Palm legacy. Yes, it's grown on me...
Went with Michelle and Timothy for lunch at Cafe on the Oval. It's my last meal with Michelle for a few days. Tonight she and the kids go to vacation with her sister's family.
Smiling to myself. This is 2009 right? Not 1984? Why are so many techies happy that they can now copy 'n paste?
Helped get the travel DVD players re-installed in the van so Michelle might maintain a modicum of sanity as she drives with the kids tonight. It looks like tonight's road trip presentation will be "Ella Enchanted".
Finally going to see Star Trek. I think that puts me in the 1 percentile range of geeks to have waited this long.
Back from Star Trek. Awesome! For my movie companion, Will, [friend and former co-worker] it was his third time seeing it. I almost don't blame him. I could see it a few times myself... Can't wait for the DVD. It'll be interesting to see commentary and the deleted scenes.
