Short Updates
Good morning! One thing I've been grateful for during this week in Michigan is that every night when we return to my cousin's old farmhouse, the cool evening breezes make for relaxing sleep without any need to use her air conditioning.
We're at the folks house as the rest of the kin wake up and get dressed. Soon we'll be heading to the dunes of Van Buren State Park near South Haven, MI.
Back from the dunes. It seems like every day one of my sons has to make a mountain out of a molehill and tantrum about something trivial. Surprisingly today it was lil' Timothy. sigh
Had a good afternoon with the extended family around my folks' pool. Among the relatives who visited today was Jack Olsen (who I haven't seen in 15-20 years!) & his wife Anita. As has been the case most of this week, it was great catching up.
I uploaded 9 photos from my phone from this morning's trip to Van Buren State Park's dunes along Lake Michigan. I'm so used to the convenience of sending one or two photos at a time to Flickr from my phone, but it's kind of a pain for more than a few photos. My phone's Facebook app is better, but still limits things to five photos per upload.
