Had a smooth commute down to Concord, MA listening to more of "Snow Crash". I decided to take advantage of the Golds' "New England Alliance" and take a Step class at a location about half a mile from this office.

At my last office I'd setup a personal TiddlyWiki to scribble down procedures that I need but often forget the fine details. I really should have set one up the day I started here. Now after my vacation, I'm trying to remember the tools used to navigate the two main computer farms I use: one in San Diego, one in Finland. And yes, of course each one is different. I've finally set up a new TiddlyWiki again...
Finally got around to setting up some Microsoft Outlook rules to deal with the firehose of email that occurs within Qualcomm on a daily basis.

I've started a new script for work this afternoon. I won't go into the details. Once again I'm writing it in Perl. I'm often tempted to try it in Python, but it always seems like it's a bad time. Like deciding to learn to drive stick shift on your prom night.
