Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 08:39 PM

Good morning! Hope you enjoyed your three day holiday weekend. It's time to get our house moving. I've got to get the six young adults to middle school, swing back to the house to switch cars, and drive down to the Concord, MA office. 5:58am

Had a smooth, sunny commute down to the Concord, MA office. Some typical school bus congestion in MA, but still managed to get 59mpg on the trip while enjoying a couple of podcasts. 9:04am

Went to (related link) in Maynard, MA for lunch. 1:00pm

Just got assigned a "soft phone" and an official extension. My extension is even a bit palindrome-ish: x11511 Hopefully it'll still work tomorrow when I'm VPN'd in from home. Sometimes VPN connections mess with stuff like that. 3:39pm

Alas, the end of another fun day down in the Concord office. Time to pack up and head back to the Granite Town of the Granite State. 5:26pm

Smooth drive home listening to Levin's book. My MP3 CD from the recent "Fullness of Truth" conference arrived in today's mail. (related link) 7:18pm

Did some RCIA prep until my eyelids became heavy. Good night all! 8:31pm

Bookmarks I made today:

Pro-Life Talking Points

Excerpt: The Pro-Life Talking Points series is meant to provide pro-life activists with clear and concise information with which to argue against common misinformation they will encounter while debating life issues. Feel free to download, copy, and distribute these one-page (two-sided) documents as needed.

When Bush spoke to students, Democrats investigated, held hearings
Comment: A little history I'd forgotten about during Pres. H.W. Bush's term
Excerpt: When President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech on October 1, 1991, the controversy was just beginning. Democrats, then the majority party in Congress, not only denounced Bush's speech -- they also ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate its production and later summoned top ...
