Yawn! Good morning. It is much chillier this morning! 32°F. Rough sleep last night but I think it was because of the nap I took yesterday afternoon. Time to get the kids up for Mass.
Back from Mass and breakfast. We're thinking this morning might be the first time we fire up the wood stoves. We have several days of chilliness ahead so we might as well.
Another sign summer is over: I cut off the water supply to the outside spigots and prep'd the sprinkler system to be blown out tomorrow. It's actually quite a sight to see 50 sprinklers cleared out by compressed air. Here's some photos of it six years ago. (related link)
Claire and I cleared out the gutters. I carry and sturdy the ladder. She's my little ladder monkey.
Learned a little YMCA pool rule. You can not merely sit poolside while your young kids go swimming. A parent must be in the water with them. Now we know. After leaving the Y we stayed with friends in New Boston for the rest of the evening.
Lame papa was dozing while watching the Jonas Bros October special with Claire. Good night all.
