Good morning! The kids have no school today due to the holiday. I get to take it a bit easier this morning.
Was very lucky this morning. I got the trash out mere minutes before the collection truck came by. Michelle reminded me that they tend to come early on holidays. These past several weeks have seen a lot of boxes from gifts to Michelle generously sent by friends and family. Thankful.
Favorite Tweet of the Day: "Anything acquired easily invariably loses its luster. This is true of women, money, and now peace prizes." (related link)
Who-hoo! The Five Guys restaurant on Amherst St in Nashua opened today. I had one of their tasty burgers months ago at the DC airport. Looking forward to having one locally. It might help Michelle feel better about missing In 'N Out Burgers -- a west coast favorite.
Back from a late lunch with my spiritual director. He had good words of encouragement. He also brought me a Medal of the Immaculate Conception from his trip to the Vatican last month. (related link)
Some friends from our parish brought over a hearty family dinner. I'm going to dig into it after I get back from Golds, where I'm heading now. I'm tired of looking over digital waveforms for today.
Back from a good Step & abs class at the gym. I've now officially resumed my wintertime Greek alter ego: Papagrababagofpellets. It's especially true this year since there is NO WAY Michelle is allowed to handle 40 lb bags of wood.
It's Monday night. Between my wife and daughters, that means it's "Dancing with the Stars" night.

ABC: Al Qaeda and Taliban Being Helped By Global Warming
Comment: My eye muscles are getting sprained from excessive eye rolling. I may need to see the eye doctor again soon. ;-P
Excerpt: So claimed ABCNews.com's "World News Webcast" Friday in a segment not only designed to increase America's fear of Al Gore's money-making bogeyman, but also give cover to President Obama as things in Afghanistan continue to spiral out of control.
RADIUM
Comment: I wanted to make a plug for one of my daily use MacOSX Leopard applications - Radium. I use it for listening to XM "satellite" radio. For us Mac guys this app works *much* better than trying to listen within the browser. And the developer is constantly enhancing it. It must prompt me for new updates a few times per month.
Excerpt: Radium is an Internet Radio player for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5+) and later. It sits in your menu bar and stays out of your way.
