Good morning! Michelle is at the YMCA to teach her Step & abs class. I'm going to see how far I can get working from home today. It could be difficult if I get stuck because most of those who might help are on vacation.
And the expected snow has started to fall. It actually looks nice, like a Hollywood snow. Michelle and the boys should return before the roads accumulate anything. Meanwhile my MacPorts update is still going strong at keeping my CPU fan going. I really should do this more often so that it doesn't take so long.
The boys' idea of driveway clearing usually consists of making random patterns with their shovels. Went outside to join 'em and get things cleared in a more organized manner. We got less than an inch of snow this afternoon. Always nice to stand by the stove when you get back inside.
Watched a little of "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" with our boys before heading to bed. Good night all!

Where There’s Smoke ... There’s a Trade-In - NYTimes.com
Comment: You've heard of "Cash for Clunkers" but did you know there's also a trade-in program for older, inefficient wood burning stoves? The NYTimes opens its report from neighboring Keene, NH. Except for when ours first get started each morning, you can barely tell ours are running when you look at our chimney. It creates about a cup of ash each day.
Excerpt: As temperatures drop, efforts to curb pollution from burning wood are clashing with tradition.
Lord Monckton addresses a Greenpeace-campaigner on global warming
Comment: Once again re-affirming that for many, it is a matter of faith.
