My favorite read yesterday Thnks Fr Th Mmrs: The Rise Of Microblogging, The Death Of Posterity It had some interesting debate about regular old-fashioned blogging vs. Twitter/Facebook style "microblogging". It built on an earlier article by Leo Laporte about it.
Good morning! It looks like most of the dank, rainy days are behind us and we'll get one last interlude of summer weather before school starts again. No major plans for the family today. I'm be working from home today, meeting my spiritual director at lunch, and hitting the gym tonight.
Disappearing TARDIS coffee mug. Darn! Out of stock!
Yoda does MC Hammer: Continue not. Time for hammer it is!
The folks from Sanford are here doing a routine cleaning/inspection/backflush of our Rinnai hot water heater.
Michelle put the down payment on the new A/C system. It includes an efficient new core and condenser from Carrier, shmancy programmable thermostat, whole house humidifier (for winter), and 2 years of routine maintenance on the heater, the A/C, and the water heater.
Back from a late lunch with my spiritual director. I'm revisiting how Ericsson compressed texture files work. On this sunny, warm afternoon Michelle has taken the kids to the town pool. Only a few days left! Saturday is its last day this season.
Back from Golds. An advanced Step 'n abs class followed by a muscle core class. Slowly getting my endurance for the two. Now to enjoy a lil' dinner and do some study.
At her request I'm putting some movies Michelle wants on her netbook for her trip to California next week. I was just thinking back to when I did this every Tuesday night so that she'd have something to watch while she would be spending her Wednesday in chemotherapy.
I think I got all of the movies Michelle will need setup on her netbook hackintosh. Good night all! I'm driving in to Boxborough tomorrow and really shouldn't be up now.
