Short Updates
Good morning! That fast moving storm that ripped through states like IN, OH, PA yesterday is just crossing into New England now.
Msgr. Charles Pope follows up yesterday's Holiness is More Than Being Nice article today with Kindness is Not the Same as Love.
Busy day ahead for today. I'll be working from home because of it. My Jetta needs one last piece of trim installed. Michelle goes for a Herceptin treatment at Nashua oncology. The lawn sprinkler guys come to blow the lines out. I'll have lunch with my spiritual director. If I'm lucky I'll get a work out in. And lastly finish it off at RCIA.
What's the carbon footprint of ... email? Why do I even try to take modern environmentalism seriously? Must we have carbon angst about everything?
Dropped Claire and Abby off at school. Swung over to Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast. Then head over to Kincaids so that they could install my trunk liner. It was the last item from the collision repair. Now VPN'd into work for the day. Jus' me 'n the kittehs on this rainy day.
Was looking out our study window thinking "Man, that tree is at its peak!" (see snapshot below)
Whoo-hoo! Amazon just refunded me $20 because the price of Office:Mac 2011 had dropped since the order date. Now $130 for a family pack.
Time magazine: We'll headline with photos of disfigured Afghan women, but not dismembered babies. (related link) Because the latter would be "too shocking, too controversial".

A late 5pm training session caused the cancellation of my planned Step class and the RCIA class afterward. After dinner I got the boys to bed, watched an episode of "The Middle" with Michelle & the girls. Now we're wrapping up with a TiVo'd episode of "Chuck" from last Monday.
