Yawn! Good morning! Michelle and I didn't get the best night of sleep. For the first half of last night the twins were tag teaming using buckets -- if you know what I mean. We're still not sure whether they are going to school today. Michelle's keeping an eye on whether they've recovered from flushing their pipelines last night.
My wife is far from being a techie, but I swoon when I see her use my ancient RPN calculator when she's balancing the checkbook. She says she's so used to it's quirky behavior that when she tries to use a "regular" calculator she's thrown off-kilter.
I dropped the girls off at their schools and then went for breakfast at Cafe on the Oval, hoping a hearty meal might help me function after a night of mixed sleep. Listened to "Interior Castle" the rest of the way in. Happy to see some sunshine and hope it helps the twins feel better.
For me it's cute to see #boomshakalaka trending as a tag on Twitter because those were the ATI internal names for the 3 main R600 series graphics chips. Boom, Shaka, and Laka.
At Anandtech they did a writeup on our SnapDragon roadmap. 1/2 way down is mention of Adreno 3xx that I'm working on.
Qualcomm teases 28nm dual-core Snapdragons, pixel-punching Adreno 300 GPU - Another new Adreno 3xx story.
I did not realize Google News could make "alerts" as RSS feeds so that they feed straight into Google Reader, Bloglines, NetNewsWire, etc.
Got out of the office on the late side. Called Michelle to verify that the twins were doing much better. Called my dad who confirmed he and mom would head out to visit us tomorrow morning. Listened to today's readings and homily via EWTN. Since the roads were clear, I had a smooth commute with 55mpg.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. The rest of us are watching this week's "Chuck" while I do a little tinkering.
Nice two part cliffhanger on this week's "Chuck". I did some structural changes to the website "under the hood". But after missing a fair amount of sleep last night, I'm going to wrap it up. Good night all.
