Good morning! I dropped the girls off at school, then Michelle and I dropped the van off for routine maintenance. I'm working from home today because I've a routine dentist appointment.
I have to laugh at the tech news about Playboy selling a hard drive with digital versions of every magazine edition since it started. I'm waiting for the line, "I just bought it for the storage." ;-]
Had a good visit with the dentist. Then took Michelle for lunch at Cafe on the Oval. I even talked her into sharing a dessert because they had German Chocolate Cake. I haven't had that in years and its one of my faves.
Picked up Michelle's van from it's routine service. Since it was only a 10K service, it was just an oil change and tire rotation. Next week my car will go in for its 90K service and snow tire mounting.
Done with my test development for today. Going to head to Golds.
Back from the gym. Enjoyed the muscle core class. Because of the recent holiday, I hadn't had any strength classes in a bit, only cardio oriented classes. It felt good to bring back some balance to my routine.
Got the boys tucked into bed with their prayers. Timothy, who makes his 1st Confession in a few months, asked a few questions. We explained to him that in this sacrament, it's your own sins you confess. You don't get to tattle on your brothers. Grin I joked about what how long it would take if spouses discussed each other's imperfections.
Looking over today's mail, my copy of "Jesus and His Times" arrived today. Published back in 1956, I had to order it from a used book seller. Considering this book is over 50 years old, it's in good condition. I want to get some context of the culture surrounding Jesus when He came among us.

Laughing at the title of NH'erite P. J. O'Rourke's latest political satire book: "Don't Vote - It Just Encourages the Bastards"
