Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and had a smooth drive into work. 56mpg this trip, which amazed me considering I have snow tires on. I listened to more of my audio book along the route. I've said it before but St. Francis de Sales is many times easier to listen to than St. Teresa of Ávila. The former was writing to lay people while the latter was writing to her fellow nuns.
And what a difference a day makes! Yesterday I arrived at work and it was around 50°F while today I arrived to 24°F. With these temperatures we'd certainly have been digging out from a blizzard this past weekend.
Had a late lunch at Not Your Average Joes with my boss. Also just learned that someone at Claire's school just died with Meningococcal disease. I'd never heard of it. Luckily it isn't very contagious. Michelle also called to tell me someone who we knew well back in our USAF days will be visiting tonight.

Smooth drive home listening to more of "Introduction" along the way. Got the boys setup to watch the second half of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Had a great evening catching up with our friend Mike from our days back at Wright-Patterson AFB. When we separated from the USAF, we settled near southern NH. When he separated, he and his family settled near Rome, NY. Perhaps we'll swing their way next summer when we drive out west.
