Good morning! Michelle and I went outside early this morning to do some cleanup from overnight. I decided to “widen” the driveway while I was out there. If you only clear to the blacktop edges, later wind will smear the snow back in. Over the past few storms our driveway was getting narrower and narrower. Now there's a foot of grass showing on each side. Not that it will last long. For now I'm back online reviewing a few failing tests from overnight and continuing to work on some new ones.
I'm a bit nervous that the snow vs mix precipitation line is less than an hour south of us. But with it only being 18°F outside, how could it turn into wet snow?
Via shanahoch: Wow - $20m in red ... the Radisson Nashua NH closes. Read more at the NashuaTelegraph.com. That's the hotel near the NH/MA state line that looks a bit like a castle. It also has sentimental value as it's where Michelle and I stayed the first night we visited NH to consider moving here back in 1994.
It appears as though in a couple more hours the worst of the storm might be over for us.
Used my lunch break to clear things out again. It appears that it's going to be relatively quiet for the next several hours. Another wave currently northeast of Columbus might get here later.
RCIA cancelled for tonight. Michelle predicted it last Sunday and was right. If only she could've predicted my oil pan cracking, I would've stayed home. *grin*
Finished work on the late side, but at least I finished the test I've been working on today. Came downstairs for some dinner and dessert. While Michelle and the girls went downstairs to watch “Knowing” I stayed upstairs with the boys and watched “Phineas and Ferb: Rollercoaster Musical”. If you've seen plenty of past Phineas and Ferb episodes, this one was a great homage to the whole series.
