Cute but sadly true commentary on Canada's new data caps. It's cheaper and just as fast to put your data on a solid state drive (the expensive kind of storage) and ship it overnight than it is to transfer it via their internet service.
Good morning! We're having breakfast at DFE. It's 35°F and should hit 43°F today. Bring on the melting!
Timothy's been bugging me for a few days with two projects. We upgraded the basement TiVo to 802.11g wireless. Later we put the notorious Cat Flushing a Toilet video on his Nintendo DS. It required me to install a Chrome extension that helps you download YouTube video into standard formats. It's an annoying video, but the kind of thing 8 year old boys find funny.
Cool! Julia meets HTML 5: "Modern browsers have optimized JavaScript execution up to the point where it is now possible to render in a browser fractals like Julia sets almost instantly."
This sounds like such a New England Superbowl Snack: Maple bacon party mix
Since it's so warm outside, Timothy and I took this opportunity to chip away all the ice on the driveway. Now the melting snow and ice has a clear path to runoff to the street. Meanwhile Michelle and the girls are out shopping at Target.
Cool! Science fiction and fantasy author Neil Gaiman scripted one of the episodes of Dr. Who coming out this spring.
I relaxed with the current episode of HAK5 on the TiVo and soon Michelle & the girls returned. Michelle was impressed with how much ice Timothy & I cleared while she was away. It went from coated in ice to relatively dry. She brought me a coffee from southern NH's best micro-roastery: A&E Roastery. Now she's out back with the roof rake seeing if there's more snow she can get down today...
On this 100th anniversary of his birth, I'm thinking back to the summer of 1988 when I as a young USAF cadet met then President Reagan.
New Hampshire made some automotive news this week: (related link) That takes skill!
I'm such a geek: I notice the Motorola product placement at the SuperBowl XLV with all of the team's headsets.
Gave Michelle and Claire a break from the Super Bowl during the second quarter and played a few rounds of Just Dance 2 with them. Now watching the half time show...
Via ShellyHKelly: Ok 2nd favorite Superbowl commercial goes to Best Buy “What's a Bieber?” LOL.
Via brodyharper: Every time Fergie sings another audio guy loses his job.
Strange Chrysler commercial...
Loved the Hyundai hybrid commercial, especially the 1st generation cell phones. ;-]
Congrats Green Bay! SuperBowl XLV champions.
