Good morning! We got some overnight snow that is on the wet and heavy side. Luckily only a couple of inches or so. Michelle went out with the roof rake and I cleaned up everything else with the snowblower. Milford schools are on a two hour delayed start. The girls took the bus to school. I'm working from home today as the snow keeps making brief appearances now and then. One might say I'm still a bit spooked from last Tuesday's snow induced accident.
In between tests I was skimming this story in IEEE Spectrum - my print copy. The info-graphic about half way down, "Tales of theTape: Supercomputer vs. Game Console", really shows how consumer demand makes products that a decade earlier were the province of DoD, DARPA, and other research labs.
Checked in with my mechanic over my lunch break. Amazingly, even though it's been a week, the insurance adjuster hasn't seen the damage. Hopefully the two (mechanic and adjuster) sync up today so that they can get started on things. Meanwhile it has started snowing again. Not much, but stop already!
