Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and head to the office. I listened to my latest CD from Lighthouse, “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist” by Dr. Brant Pitre.
As you might imagine, things were a bit chaotic this morning as we were effectively down to our first floor half bathroom. Today a bulk of the remaining work should be done: grouting the floors, a second coat of paint, a new vanity, crown moldings, etc. The final holdout should be the granite atop the master bathroom's vanity. We live in New Hampshire -- we should have SOME granite in the house, dontcha think?
Went with my supervisor and a former coworker out for some Thai in Maynard, MA. Now with a belly full of Chicken Pad Thai, I'm going to be nursing a coffee to stay awake for the next few hours. Back to test writing...
Left work late because of a 5pm conference call but had a smooth drive home. I caught up with my dad for the first half and finished that CD I started this morning the rest of the way. When I got home Michelle showed me the bathroom results. The kids' is done and ours is close. Tomorrow they start re-finishing our stairs. The worn berber carpet will be ripped up and nicely finished wood stairs will replace them.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers and then studied up for tomorrow's RCIA class. Good night all!
