Good morning! Once I got Claire home and went back to bed "for real", I slept like a rock. Michelle tells me that there were really strong winds blowing last night (good bye warm spell) but I slept right through them. We woke up to a chilly house this morning because we'd forgotten to turn the heat back on last night. We'd shut it off when the house was wide open airing out the polyurethane.
Michelle has some honey-do plans for me this weekend. But first is to head to the gym in a bit. But later I'm going to look a bit like a chimney sweep as I give both wood stoves a cleaning. We're down to our last ton of wood for the season. I also have to check the front gutter, fix the sensor on the garage door, replace a car bulb, and take some CFs for proper disposal. I also have plans to take the boys to Confession this afternoon. For Timothy it'll be his second one, one without as much pomp.
Claire and I are back from the Saturday morning Step and abs class at Golds. Claire is excited because the front desk staff gave her a "Golds Certified Member" t-shirt. While we were out Michelle did some paint touch up to the halls around the main stairs to cover the various marks and scuffs from over the years.
Used this video as a funny way to explain to Claire some of the downsides of Facebook.
Dropped Claire off at piano lessons. Fixed the garage door opener. Now time to pack the family up in the van, pick Claire up, and grab some lunch at Amigos.
Having lunch with the family at Amigos in downtown Milford.
Took the boys to Saturday Confession at St. Patricks.
Timothy helped me change one of the Jetta's "City Lights". Compared to changing the high and low beams, the city lights, which share the housing with the high beams, are a royal PITA to remove because they're in the corner of the housing.
Watched volume 1 of Disney Fables with the kids. "The Prince and the Pauper" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". I was taking after my dad and dozing near the end.
After I got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers, I did some random web surfing on geeky topics. Tonight's geekitude du jour: WebGL. I'm actually quite excited by it. It's the ability to embed OpenGL type graphics inside of a web browser. You only see this ability on some of the latest browsers: Chrome 9+, Firefox 4+, Safari on Snow Leopard. Here's an example. I think I know what I might tinker with on President's Day! ;-) Good night all!
