Good morning! It's Holy Thursday, the beginning of Triduum, the home stretch for Lent. Claire decided to take the bus to school this morning. I dropped Abby off at Milford Middle School and went to Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast. I'd been eating such poor breakfasts the past several days, I wanted to enjoy a hearty breakfast for a change, especially since tomorrow will be on the light side. I listened to TWiG #91 most of the drive in and caught up with my folks near the end of the commute.
How did I miss this? Elisabeth Sladen aka Sarah Jane Smith died on Tuesday after a months long batter with cancer.
With my vocation I'll probably never own one, but I'm liking the looks of the upcoming 2012 VW Beetle.
Oh Snap! Qualcomm reports record quarterly revenues, boasts 100th Snapdragon device.
Just noticed:Google Calendar puts the date in your browser favicon. (Look in the tab or to the left of the URL). It's the little things. ;-]
Wrapping up for the day and heading up for Holy Thursday services.
Smooth drive north listening to TWiT #297, their sixth anniversary special. I remember when I first started doing the commute to ATI and listening to their early episodes. Went straight to St. Patricks for the Holy Thursday Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper. Powerful!
When I got home I made a simple dinner and watched some of the pilot of Early Edition with Michelle and the girls. When it first aired back in '96, it was a a favorite of Michelle and mine. We liked the story and were missing seeing family in Chicago while we were stationed at WPAFB. And you know Abby will love it: it has a kitteh!
