Going Back to Cali'...
Good morning! Enjoyed a hearty eggs and toast breakfast Michelle made for me before heading down to Boxborough. Smooth commute listening to a talk I got wind of via Pun Salad called “Sustainability: Empty Rhetoric or a Bad Idea?”. Listen to it here. The audio quality isn't great, but the discussion is interesting.
As I learn more about this Playstation Network security breach, I get amazed. Even the simplest, most common practice of hashing user passwords wasn't done. The passwords were stored in plain text at their servers. The usage of this modest security technique predates even the original Playstation. Come on Sony! (related link)
Booked a trip to San Diego in a couple of weeks. Time to visit Qualcomm HQ and catch up with my GPU peers.
Back from lunch with my spiritual director.
Went straight from the office to Golds. I listened to BOL #1457 along the drive. Took the Muscle Mix class tonight. Think I'll sleep well after that.
