Done with Mass on this Divine Mercy Sunday. Several children in our parish received their First Holy Communion at this morning's Mass, including Timothy's friend Jamie. Meanwhile in Rome leaders are celebrating the beatification of the late Pope John Paul II. What a busy day! Now the eight of us are having breakfast at DFE.
Back from breakfast. Gorgeous weather outside. Since our guest will soon be heading home, Michelle wants me to pull the extra seat out of the van, the Odyssey's optional 8th seat. Amazon sent me an email that last night's Doctor Who is now ready for download so I'm sending it to the 1st floor TiVo. We're excited to see how this two part season opener gets resolved.
Michelle and I ran out to get a fresh set of blades for the tractor. When we got back we found that the battery was dead so Timothy and I ran out get a fresh tractor battery. Then we fueled it up with a tank of fresh gas, installed the battery, inflated the tires, swapped out the cutting blades, and cleaned the underside of the mowing deck. It's all ready for next weekend's first mowing. Hard to believe that exactly one month ago today I was removing snow from the New England "April Fools Snowstorm".
Timothy and I ran out to Milford House of Pizza for tonight's dinner: a cheese pizza for the boys and a Greek pizza for the rest of us.
At Confirmation Class with Claire.
Confirmation class went well. When we got home we all watched Doctor Who: Day of the Moon via Amazon. Everyone agreed it was an awesome episode. Full of mystery. Scary in an almost Hitchcock sense. I think this episode will have them hooked on seeing the rest of season 6. I got the twins tucked in bed with their prayers. Tonight wraps up the kids' spring vacation. Tomorrow it's back to work and for them back to school. Good night all!
