Good morning! We just got back from Mass and breakfast afterwards. And wow, Fastmail is down. That's about as rare as seeing GMail be down. Hopefully their admins are on it and it won't be long. In other news Claire got an insider tip to look for a job opening at Trombley Gardens about 2 miles from us, so we picked her up an application. Grandpa Bob would be so proud if she worked at that nursery. Claire really would rather not work at Market Basket. I don't blame her. When I was her age I didn't want to work at the Dominicks in River Grove.
Yup, their status blog confirms FastMail is down. Luckily there's always the mirror hosted at Amazon. If that ever goes down, it'll be time to stock up on food, water, and ammunition.

Gorgeous warm sunny weather expected today. Going to take the family up to Lake Sunapee today.
Stopped for ice cream in the way back from the lake at Intervale Ice Cream in Henniker. It's a good mid-point to let the kids get out of the van and stretch their legs. And compared to Haywards here in Milford, the prices are awesome. I fed the seven of us for less than twenty dollars.
*phew* Home Sweet Home. Back from a great day at Lake Sunapee. See a few camera phone snapshots below.
When I wasn't swimming with the kids. I was sitting under the umbrella and read the first three chapters of Lifehacker. Those chapter have great tips on handling a flood of email, managing your data, and getting your work tasks organized and done. These are staples of the modern information worker.
