Good morning! There was no update yesterday. After breakfast at DFE, we drove to the coast to spend the day at Water Country. We were there from the 10am opening until it closed at 6:30pm. The whole family had a great time. On the way home we tried Carrabbas in Bedford for the first time and really loved it.
Today I'm working from home. After the recent heatwave, it's nice to wake up with the outside actually cooler than the inside of the house. Open the windows and shut off the air conditioning. Michael is at his reading class. I have Daniel and Timothy this morning. Michelle is taking the girls with her to the Y while she teaches her Step class. After class she'll take them to downtown Nashua to shop while she goes to see her surgeon about the upcoming excision.
Today I'm also working on my biannual self appraisal and writing up some third party feedback for some of my peers. Compared to development and debug, this always feels awkward to me. This happens every time performance review season comes around.
While Michelle and the girls are downtown, I took Daniel and Timothy over to Jacques Memorial Elementary School to pick up Michael. Then the four of us went over to Cafe on the Oval for lunch. At the moment Michelle should be finishing up with her surgeon consult.
Michelle is back from meeting with the surgeon. While there is little new, just reiterating the excision procedure and the possible risks does not put one in a happy mood.
Just back from a Step Circuit class at Golds. It helped calm some butterflies in my stomach. It can be difficult to put worst-case scenarios out of your mind sometimes.
After a late dinner I got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Watched an episode of Doctor Quinn with Michelle and the girls. For once the drama wasn't too over the top for me.
