Good morning! After a day to decompress at Lake Sunapee, it's back to work for me. I had a rainy drive in this morning, listening to No Agenda #325 along the way.
Just had lunch with my spiritual director. Because of summer time, it was my first in a couple of months. He gave me a great analogy I wanted to share. He said that what we see of our life is often like looking at the back of an Oriental/Persian Rug. Sometimes we can't fully envision what the weaver is trying to make, but when we get to see the other side of the finished product, we can appreciate the messiness we saw. On the side that God sees, it’s a beautiful, glorious tapestry. What we’re seeing today is the backside.

Patient goes to the doctor, "I'm addicted to Twitter." Doctor replies, "Sorry, I don't follow you."
Had a rainy drive home. I listened to a little EWTN for the first half and offered up a set of Glorious Mysteries for the remainder. Michelle and the kids are still out at friends. I came home on the early side to take a 5 o'clock conference call from home rather than leave for home around 6:30pm.
I am so glad I went home before the conference call. Afterwards I had two calls with coworkers that are only finishing up now. I'd be sad if I was just leaving Boxborough now. Instead I'm just heading downstairs. Still no sign of Michelle and the kids though...
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Watched the rest of There Be Dragons. Good Night All!
