Good morning! We're just back from Mass and then breakfast at DFE. Claire and Abby served this 7 o'clock Mass. Since today is the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, our proud Jesuit pastor used the opportunity to expound on the life of his order's founder. After yesterday's workout and lawn work, it's a pretty lazy day today. We'll probably take the kids to the Milford pool later today.
I got some rest because I didn't sleep well last night. Just before 1 o'clock we head out to the Milford pool. Around 2 o'clock Michelle took a break and brought Claire to her job. On the way back she picked up a couple of DD's mocha lattes. I enjoyed swimming up front and read more of my book for a couple of hours.
Near the end I went for a couple last pencil jumps with Abby in the 12 foot section and then... they blew the whistle. Again someone threw up in the pool! This happened a few Sundays back when I went with the family to the pool. I'm cursed. But at least the kids didn't protest when it was time to leave.
Went to pick Claire up from work (see snapshots below). Brought her over to a friend's house where a group of them will go running, preparing for track season next month. They're going to try 10 miles tonight.
Just picked up Claire. She made it! Ten miles. Good night all.
