Going to try my first Philip K. Dick sci-fi novel, Ubik, on this morning's drive.
I get so many great tips during the day from Twitter, Google+, email, etc. Thankful for ReadItLater so that I can stay work focused.
Good morning all! It's a pretty light day for Michelle and the kids. Unfortunately it's not exactly "go to the pool" weather today with highs only in the mid-70's. Had a reasonable drive in. There was still a bit of a gaper's block near the area of yesterday's fire as folks are in awe to see this piece of history scorched by fire. Enjoyed the first hour of the audio book.
Due to some interactive debugging I was doing with the west coast, I didn't leave work until about 6:30. I caught up with River Grove news and my mom's status for the first half. Listened to more of Ubik the rest of the way.
Am I the only grown up happy that tomorrow is the release of Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension?
After having difficulty with the soft audio levels of "Ubik", decided to burn an MP3 CD of it to listen through the car stereo on the next commute.
Picked up Claire from another run she did with the cross country team tonight. She and the team ran ~6 1/2 miles tonight. Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Good night all!
