Dutch rethink Christianity for a doubtful world via BBC. Wow! So many jaw droppers I don't know where to begin. 6:59am

Video: Comparing Password Protection Tools, LastPass and KeyPass. I don't care which you use, but make strong, unique-per-site passwords people! 7:21am

Good morning! Dawdled a bit since I didn't have my hour long commute. Now VPN'd into the office for the rest of the day. 8:41am

A good example of why rankings done by algorithm are suspect. Northeastern University is a 5 yr college with 0% 4yr grad rate. 9:12am

Forgot to mention that I woke up in the middle of the night for the oddest of reasons. In addition to her own phone Claire accidentally brought home another cell phone that's the same make, model, and color as hers. And it started getting very loud text messages in the middle of the night. Hoping to return it later today. 9:21am

I'll want to look at Roy Varghese's religion books later tonight. I've heard him on the radio twice this week. He was born in Kerala, India and is a writer and editor of books on the relationship between science and religion. 9:23am

Wrapped up the work day. Among the more interesting things I got to do was explore Microsoft's software reference rasterizer model for rendering 3D graphics. It emulates a generic hardware graphics card in software. Since it's an abstract model, it seems so clean and straightforward. It doesn't have to try to model real hardware. Hardware vendors make sure that they comply with their model. 6:26pm

Taking the family out for ice cream at Hayward's Ice Cream. 7:20pm

Watching the new Phineas and Ferb movie with the kids. 8:48pm

I'm turning into my father. I fell asleep while watching the movie. Once it was over I woke back up, got the very tired boys tucked in bed with their prayers, and went back to sleep. Of course it's always harder to fall back asleep after you've had a catnap. 9:48pm
