Good morning! It's another work from home day, VPN'ing into the office network. This morning Michelle will teach her last fitness class for a while, the local Golds Gym 20/20/20 class. Another instructor, Bonnie, will take it over for the next several weeks.
Image: How Soda Affects Your Body. Makes me glad I gave it up a long time ago. To be fair, I gave it up because carbonated drinks make me hiccup.
Back from morning Mass at St. Patricks. A friend from Opus Dei had called the parish earlier that this morning's Mass intention would be for Michelle. We're down to T-24 hours before her tumor excision surgery. All intercessions for tomorrow morning will be appreciated.
Michelle is dropping Claire off at Adams Field for more cross country training. Then she'll be off to Golds for her last 20/20/20 class. I'm home with Abby and da' boys, VPN'd into work, catching up on the overnight email from the left coast.
Hm. OSX Lion was released on July 20th. In past OSX releases the longest wait for the first update to a major release was 19 days. Wondering when we'll see Lion 10.7.1... Timothy's been asking when we're going to update to Lion since we were holding off for a "dot one" update.
Intel's Sandy Bridge Graphics Architecture. I'll want to look at this later. They did some novel things.
Michelle dropped me off at the body shop to pick up my car. Glad that this time the work estimate was spot on! Glad to have my Jetta back. It seems weird after all of these years to feel like you can't just hop in your car and go somewhere whenever you need to.
Happy that I met my work goals for today, since I'm off for two days. After dinner I set up Michelle's netbook with plenty of media for her entertainment during recovery.
So I started the day wondering when Apple would update OSX Lion from its release version and bam, they did this afternoon.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Abby's away on a sleepover. we have to be up very early tomorrow. Good night all!
