Vacation Day
Kicking off our vacation before the drive with a quick breakfast at DFE.
Despite our repeated efforts to avoid it, someone was going "to explode" if we didn't pull over at a rest stop.
Arrived at our first stop... The Lost River Gorge.
Just finished a light picnic lunch at the gazebo. Now onto the Kancamagus Highway.
Enjoyed our drive across the Kancamagus Highway. Stopped at the Lower Falls to swim for an hour. Finally arrived at our hotel.
After a day of travel, finally settling in for some dinner at the Up Country Restaurant.
I got the girls setup at the hotel's water park. The boys are tired so Tim is reading his book, Little House on the Prairie, while the twins are watching a Garfield movie. While there were some hiccups today, overall our first day went well.
