Vacation Day 2
Good morning! I had a little rough sleep as Tim is sharing the bed with Michelle and I. Neither Claire & Abby nor the twins would give up bed space for him. Michelle is taking the boys downstairs to the hotel's water park. I'm taking the girls over to Stables at Farm By the River B&B so that they can do some horseback riding.
Taking the family mini golfing at Pirates Cove. Despite her recovering shoulder, Michelle had the leading score.
Just picked Claire and Abby up from horseback riding. We had to reschedule this morning's ride to 12:30.
The boys spent more time at the water park while the girls visited the nearby outlet center. Now we're having dinner at the local 99.
After dinner we went to an old style 'five and dime' store. Got a little something for all the kids, including this car model for me.
As we were leaving the store, the first bits of rainfall had started. Nevertheless we got two solid days of outdoor fun. Tomorrow we likely stick to staying inside the hotel. They plan to run the indoor water park if possible.
This is such a family friendly hotel. In addition to an indoor water park, they play a movie every night. Tonight's flick: Disney's Tangled.
Forgot to mention that we scored an air matress for Timothy. And it's right in line with the TV screen. So many of the same siblings who wouldn't share their bed with him last night suddenly want to hang out on his mattress while the movie plays.
