Good morning! It's back to work for me this morning. Got the girls dropped off at their schools and had a cool, sunny drive down to Boxborough. I listened to John 'n Adam along the way and stopped by DD for a quick egg on English sandwich. Noticed that my car now has a failure our last Odyssey had: the fan only works on the highest setting. Grr!
Michelle has a typical Tuesday. She's teaching her 20/20/20 class at he Milford Golds now. Later she'll get another radiation treatment. So far, so good! Tonight she and the kids have CCD and there's an open house for Timothy's class.
Did some research on blower motor failures and scheduled a car appointment for early next week. Now get out the can of compressed air! I'm dusting off old brain cells on debugging a program inside of Emacs/GDB. I have a Linux-only bug that runs okay in Windows. Time to figure out where the crash occurred. The usual backtrace command doesn't tell me much. I had used GDB more in my AMD/ATI days but my current role has me doing far more debugging in Microsoft Visual Studio.
Left work on the late side, past 6:30. GDB did a good job at helping me get to the bottom of a subtle bug. Had a quiet drive home, listening to more of "The Diamond Age" along the commute. Had a simple breakfast-for-dinner and helped Claire with her math homework. Watched last week's Tekzilla on TiVo.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Just noticed a new edition of Gilbert Magazine arrived in today's mail. Too bad I'm too tired to do much with it tonight. Good night all!
