Good morning! I was going to update the site, but Flickr is temporarily down. Guess I'll be waiting until later...
While I was investigating what's going on with Flickr, I found out that they recently released their own Android app. For the past year I've been using a very simple private app called Flickdroid, just for the picture uploading process. I'll have to see how this compares.
Michelle is so totally spoiling us this morning: fresh pancakes and sides of maple sausage. Abby has to head out soon to babysit the neighbor's kids. Later today she'll be heading to the school for dress rehearsal and then perform for us tonight. Claire has a cross country meet this morning.
Drove over to the Y this morning. Since it's the beginning of October, the month of the Rosary, I prayed up a set of Luminous Mysteries on the drive in. I offered them up for Michelle's continuing health during these radiation treatments. I didn't want to go to Golds this morning because they're changing some of the Saturday morning classes this month. I just wanted a vanilla Step class, not a "Turbo Kick" class.
Just got back from a Step 'n Abs class at the Merrimack Y. One of the women in the class told me a story about when she had first started attending Michelle's classes. She didn't know Michelle was on chemotherapy at the time and had lost her hair. She couldn't believe a woman undergoing such treatment could still lead a cardio class with such energy! On the drive back home I stopped by A&E Roastery for a smoothie: an apple/green tea smoothie. It's primary advantage: I like 'em and the rest of my family thinks it's gross and won't ask for a sip. ;-] While I think its tasty, it looks like frozen split pea soup!
After lunch had a nice afternoon nap and caught a bit of CNMC 2011. I went to it last year but couldn't this year. I dropped Abby off at the high school for her dress rehearsal. Then Timothy and I upgraded the iMacs to 4GB RAM. Now we're in the process of installing Mac OSX Aslan...
The second of the iMacs is finishing up its upgrade. The first one took about an hour when booted from a DVD and installed. Meanwhile we're at Milford High waiting for the Young Americans performance to start. Go Abby!
Everyone really enjoyed the performance. Given that the boys have been playing Wii Music and Just Dance 2 for the past couple of years, seeing such a live performance with all of the singing and dancing really kept their interest. They had feared it was going to be as boring as the talent shows and band recitals they've endured in years past. Claire and the team had returned from their cross country meet and she was able to catch most of the show. It was such a nice change to see Abby coming out of her shell, putting herself out there, singing and dancing with the group, really getting into it.
