Good morning! I'm taking the day off. I dropped the girls off at their schools. From there I went for a haircut. Now I'm at the local clinic for a routine physical, a flu shot, Tetanus and Pertussis vaccinations, and blood screening.
Back from getting poked and prodded in all the fun ways that men over 40 are during a physical. (ahem) Finally can enjoy some breakfast.
Dad and I went into Brookline to check out stoves at StoveKeepers. His fireplace is a bit smaller than mine so he wanted advice on how to fit a wood pellet insert in that opening. Shortly afterward I drove with Michelle into Nashua for her last radiation treatment.
After her treatment Michelle and I went over to Five Guys to have a late lunch and celebrate. Hopefully this truly is her last cancer treatment and we don't see another recurrence. From there we ran a few errands: going to our bank to adjust the boys' accounts, to Comcast to discuss our TV account because they're killing off analog service, and to A&E for some coffees.
Now trying to weigh Comcast DVRs, new digital TiVos, or perhaps a satellite setup like DirecTV or Dish. The big thing that annoys me about digital television service is that the price always goes up per television. In analog service within reason you can feed one or multiple televisions without costs increasing.
Picked up Claire from her last cross country meet of the season. Now we're all celebrating Michelle's last treatment with champagne and sparkling cider.
A bit concerned for my mom's health these past couple of days. She and dad may make a trip to the hospital tonight or early tomorrow.
