Good morning. Day two of my mini vacation. I dropped the girls off at their schools. Then Michelle and I dropped the boys off at their school and had breakfast at Cafe on the Oval.
We're a bit concerned because dad took mom to the hospital this morning do check out a couple of issues she's been having.
Michelle and I spent most of the day on yard work. Around 4 o'clock Claire took over for me while I went over to my eye doctor to pick up my new glasses, first update in six years. I have a bit of that "new glasses" disorientation from one of the lenses getting a tweak in the prescription.
Most of the lawn mowing was melancholy because I'd gotten word that mom had an MRI. They'd found the malignancy on her spine is advancing and likely the cause of her increased pain, despite Vicodin and Morphine. She and dad are on their way back after they stop at Walgreens to order stronger pain killers.

Mom and dad arrived back at the house. With mom settled, Michelle is going with dad to pick up the filled prescriptions.
