Final Fall Cleanup
A belated good morning! Happy Feast of Christ the King. This week is the last Sunday before the new translation of the Mass kicks in next week. Adios to “and also with you”. We went to 7am Mass and then breakfast at DFE. We dropped Claire off at Subway and I caught a quick nap. Now time for lawn cleanup again. Hopefully the last sweep of leaves for the season.
Michelle, Timothy, Abby, and I are done working on autumn cleanup. I've stowed the sweeper back in the basement. I'll change the oil on the tractor, the lawn mower, and the snowblower next weekend. Michelle has run to DFE to pick up a couple of coffees. Then I have more television setup tasks. Some of the old TiVos will become boat anchors.
Did a few more "honey-do"s for Michelle. Went to pick up Claire from work. Just noticed: not only do we now get EWTN on channel 184 but we also get Boston's own CatholicTV on channel 183. Thinking we'll go to TGIFridays for dinner tonight.
Claire stayed back to do her homework but we took the rest of the family to TGIFridays for dinner. When I got home I bought a Klondike solitaire and Mancala for the Macs while helping Claire with her algebra.
Watched an episode of Dr. Quinn with the family, “The Expedition” before getting the kids to bed. Good night all!
