Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! It's a bit of a lazy morning here. I helped Timothy turn his laptop into an ArchBang laptop and fixed some bitrot in my site maintenance scripts. Now it's time to get ready for Mass.
Back from Mass. Learned that our pastor was in the hospital to have a pacemaker put in. Michelle and Claire are putting a turkey in the oven. I'm trying to figure out why the main TV is getting no signal...
Don't know why but when I had the TiVo restart itself, things settled out. Hope it doesn't become a common problem...
All cleaned up from the traditional Thanksgiving meal. We've fired up Mario Party 8 on the Wii. I've also been trying to setup our older TiVo/DVD on the basement TV.
A comparison of Steve Jobs and St. Josemaria. Not quite what I'd expected, but interesting to this Opus Dei cooperator.
Went north to have desserts with friends up in New Boston. I can't get over how if you travel just 10 minutes north of us there's snow on the ground. While up there I saw "Cars 2" with the boys. Also sampled deep fried turkey for the first time. If you want to cook your turkey quickly, that's one tasty way to do it!
