Good morning! Claire is at work at Subway. Abby is volunteering at an animal shelter. Michelle and I took the boys to the Y for some exercise. The boys used the track and the basketball courts while Michelle and I took a Step class. I rarely get to exercise at the same time as Michelle. She always makes it look so effortless compared to the rest of us in the class. Now the boys are looking at Scholastic book fair books.
Michelle and I are taking the boys for lunch & The Muppets at Chunky's cinema pub.
We really enjoyed the movie. It renewed the boys' interest in seeing the many Muppet DVDs that Uncle Stu gave us many Christmases ago. We also mentioned Jim Henson's tragic death in 1990. We stopped by A&E coffee on the way back home for one of their awesome coffees.
Just back from Gaudete Sunday Mass. I was impressed that our pastor wore rose colored vestments for the celebration. Few priests are that brave. And I wore the rose tie that we men wore for my mom's funeral last October.
Helped Claire with her algebra homework (rate problems) and Timothy with his laptop. Also cancelled our pre-orders for “Grimm” and “Once Upon a Time” as we've now caught up and are just recording the rest via TiVo.
We're all sitting around the tree and wood stove. Michelle, Claire, Abby, and Daniel are filling out Christmas cards. Michael is reading and Timothy was tinkering on his laptop. Now Timothy and I are on envelope stuffing duty.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Going to look for a copy of “Shrek the Halls” for tomorrow.
