Christmas Break Begins
Good morning! We got a dusting of snow overnight. Not enough to ruin the roads, but it looks nice. Got the girls and boys dropped off at their schools. I have the day off as a holiday. Abby is performing with the 8th grade band over at the boys' school this morning. Our first guests should arrive in a handful of hours.
Took Michelle out for lunch at Cafe on the Oval and we've been running a bunch o' lil' errands since then. Everywhere is just mobbed!
The girls just hopped off the school bus. Thus marks the end of quiet in the house until January 2nd.
Dave, Maria, and their two girls arrived between 4 and 5 o'clock. We've enjoyed a chili dinner and are now getting their stuff in to get them settled in.
I watched Batman Forever after dinner. Remember? The one with Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell, Drew Barrymore, and Debi Mazar. Too bad that many stars couldn't turn it into a better movie. Then got the boys ready for bed with their prayers. Good night all!
