Good morning! Today the girls head up north to stay in Belmont for a few days. I stopped at Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast. From there I head down to Boxborough while listening to chapter 3 of Lord of the Rings. Snow is predicted soon so I may leave the office on the early side.
Tinkering geeks can rejoice: The Raspberry Pi is now available for order. Model A:$25. Model B:$35. Timothy and I have been watching it's development for about a year now. It sold out like hotcakes, bringing the web sites of the distributors to their knees.
I was unaware of the H.265 video standard and how it greatly reduces filesizes/bandwidth for HD video. Here's a video describing it and how SnapDragon supports it.

Left work around 6 o'clock. Brushed off my car and had a slow, snowy drive home, listening to more of Lord of the Rings on the way. The girls are all away in Belmont for a few days, so for poor Michelle it's just me and the three boys.
Looking at potential phones for Abby. Thinking perhaps the HTC Arrive, the Samsung Epic 4G, or the Samsung Transform Ultra. She's a bit picky for a first time phone buyer. She wants a smart phone with a slider. I laughed because she wants ‘apps’ even though she can't name one app. A triumph of modern marketing.
Got the boys to bed with their prayers. So glad we can get to bed at a reasonable time. No late night pickup from work, youth group, etc. We should have about 6-7 inches of fresh snow by sunrise tomorrow and about a foot by tomorrow night. Good night all!

and condemn it,
because at the preaching of Jonah they repented,
and there is something greater than Jonah here.” — Luke 11
