Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and head back to the house. I'm working from home (WFH) today.
Michelle and I just got back from taking an advanced Step class at Golds. It's gorgeous outside today. Sunny and so far ~60°F. We'll take it.
Michelle had a hair appointment just before noon. I took her for a late lunch at Cafe on the Oval and for coffees at DFE afterwards. 'Tis gorgeous outside: ~67°F, sunny, but windy. While I'm back to debug, Michelle is taking my car for a much needed wash. I hear there's a red car under the road dirt and mud.
Wrapped up work a little after 6:30. I went to our parish where they've been having some special Lenten services every night this week. Before I left I gave Michelle some money to take the kids to Haywards Ice Cream. They had finished up their ice cream about the time I got back.
Got the boys all tucked in bed with their prayers. It's been a pretty full day today. Good night all!
This caught the eyes of me and Michelle: Heart Surgeon Speaks Out On What Really Causes Heart Disease. His claim is that what makes cholesterol accumulate on the walls is the inflammation caused by recommendations of the modern diet, specifically the “overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates […] and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.” Of course he's gotten a lot of flack because such ideas are countercultural and against the mainstream of medicine. Not to mention it would decimate the lucrative statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) market. Is he right? I don't know. But it's interesting.

neither will they be persuaded
if someone should rise from the dead.” — Luke 16
